Virtual Reality for People with Visual Impairments

Under the direction of Dr. Shiri Azenkot of Cornell University, the team developed wireframes and a final prototype of a way for people with visual impairments to use virtual reality (VR) technology.

We identified the problems facing visually impaired users of VR, performed basic research on what was necessary for improvement, and then developed a wireframe mockup of the prototype. This culminated in the working model that’s viewable in the linked document below.
